I feel like it’s finally safe to say that we made it out of winter (I should hope so…it’s May!), and man, does it feel good! I feel like every year I just miss the gorgeous spring blooms that happen in the Sioux Falls parks. They’re so pretty, but don’t last more than a week and they’re gone for another year.

I was so excited when I realized that my engagement session with Janey and Miles, that we’d planned a while ago, was going to happen just as the trees were in bloom. We had a blast exploring Sertoma Park looking for budding flowers. It was so pretty!

And then, when the sun started to set, it was like the whole place lit up. The green and yellow grass was the perfect backdrop for the end of their session. We couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect!

I had such a blast getting to know these two lovebirds, and I can’t wait for their wedding! Cheers, Miles and Janey!
