Kayla loves nature, and Jesse loves Kayla. That’s what Kayla joked to me when we made a last minute decision to switch their engagement session location to Palisades. I’m so glad we made the change, because this gorgeous state park was the perfect place to showcase these two and their adventurous relationship. I honestly think they laughed the entire time we were shooting.

Not only did these two spend the entire shoot laughing, they were up for dodging deep, muddy puddles (thanks, wettest South Dakota May EVERRRR), running through woods, and rock climbing, all to get the shot. I can definitely say it was well worth it for these images.
