Our amazing back deck is truly our family’s favorite spot to unwind and enjoy the summer months. Picture this: a cozy outdoor haven where we can kick back, relax, and create beautiful memories together. We’ve spent hours perched back here watching baseball (and Bluey), enjoying drinks, napping, and reading.

When we were building our home last summer, we knew we wanted a spacious outdoor living space. Years ago when we lived in Iowa, we had a huge back deck and in the summer it was like our house got bigger because we used that space so much. It was perfect for entertaining, eating, and relaxing, and we knew we wanted that again.

We love to lounge together as a family, so it was easy to decide between a table and chairs, or more of a lounge, living room set. When we found the Tropicava Collection at Furniture Mart, we knew it was the one. I loved the modern colors and thought they would fit well with the rest of our house, and the price point was great too – especially for the quality.

The Tropicava set comes with a couch and two chairs, along with a coffee table. It’s perfect for us because it fits our whole family, and is also great for when we have people over and want to enjoy being outside. Overall, it’s a total dream and we’re loving spending our summer in this space!
