To be perfectly honest, wedding planning can be stressful. What makes it a whole lot easier is having a team of people on your side who know what they’re doing. When you have a caterer who kills it whether they’re serving 10 people or 10,000; when you have an officiant who knows you both so well that the message is sure to be heartfelt; when you have a DJ who gets people busting a move on the dance floor; it all helps you have an absolutely unforgettable day.

Certainly I’m biased, but I truly think one of the greatest things you can invest in when it comes to your wedding day is photography. When the last piece of cake has been eaten and the last piece of confetti swept up, you’ll have your photos to look back on and remember your day. You’ll have them to show your kids and your grandchildren some day!

I can’t tell you how many bride-friends and clients I have talked to in recent years who now place such a value on wedding photography. You don’t realize how fast this day goes until you’ve lived it. So much work and effort is put into the wedding day, and then it’s over. Happily, the memories live on forever. Even more happily, with a good wedding photographer, the memories can be put to photographs and you can really relive the day.

With a good wedding photographer, your mind should be put at ease. With Mad Photo weddings, that is exactly by goal for my clients. Your engagement photos are scheduled far enough in advance of your wedding so we’re all comfortable and get to know each other. I help you decide what products you want for your home, and most importantly, for your wedding! Do you need a photo guest book? A display canvas? A mounted photo for people to sign? We’ll talk it out!

I also help with one of the biggest things you have to figure out: your timeline! A good timeline can make your whole day run so much smoother, and a photographer who knows how to put one together…and when to stick to it and when to give some wiggle room for when you run behind 😉 …can make all the difference!

We’ll also decide what photos are important to you. Do you want photos of you and your best girls getting ready that morning? Or would you prefer to keep that time more intimate, but bring in a photographer when it’s time to put on that gorgeous gown? Everyone is different, and your whole day can be customized to you with a Mad Photo wedding.

Before your big day, we get together for a pre-wedding consult to make sure you feel good and everything runs smoothly. I ask the necessary questions to make sure your day is totally superb; you don’t need to worry about anything!

The same goes for your wedding day. I often will step up during a wedding and almost act as wedding planner. I work with family members to organize quick and easy family portraits; I work with the caterer to ensure meals are coming out at the correct time; and I even work with the DJ to create the absolute best first dance photos.

You spend so much time creating the perfect day before your wedding day; let me be the one to capture those details on your wedding day so they’re frozen in time for you and your friends and family to remember forever.
