Emily got in touch with me over email in January, and I felt like I connected with her right away. She was so sweet and complimentary, having been referred from past brides of mine! Within a couple of emails, she let me know they were planning an outdoor wedding in Mitchell, SD and I was so excited. While I love outdoor weddings, they’re obviously hard to come by in South Dakota (hello, I totally get it!), so I was thrilled to hear she was willing to take the chance!

I’m so excited to tell you the risk was well worth it! Emily and Chris had an absolutely gorgeous wedding day. They, along with their friends and family, did an amazing job planning out every little detail to really make the day special. Everything was picture-perfect: from the rustic doors that opened with Emily started walking down the aisle with her dad, to the custom hankies Emily gifted her parents, to the special, surprise messages that played during the first dances.

Emily’s dress and details were so perfect for a country-glam, rustic-chic wedding. I loved the bling and sparkle, offset with other details like the country cowgirl boots! These details were so fun to work with!
