Once in a while, I’ll get a request for a shoot location or theme that makes me say to myself, YUP … these are my PEOPLE. Andrew and Kayla’s brewery engagement session was definitely one of those. An engagement session at a pub?! Drinking beer while taking pictures?! I am so in.

Andrew and Kayla (mostly Andrew, but Kayla loves it too) have set a personal goal to hit up a brewery in each of the 50 states. There’s gonna be t-shirt, guys. Luckily for them, Brookings, South Dakota (where these two live) is home to a couple fun breweries. The newest of which is Eponymous Brewing, and they were nice enough to allow us to start this engagement session there.

Downtown Brookings made for the perfect backdrop for these two lovebirds. At one point Kayla asked me, ‘Are you even getting anything good!? All we are doing is being goofy and laughing!” Ladies, know this: moments like that make the BEST photos! I love it!

I’m so obsessed with these images and cannot WAIT for these two to get married in March. Only a few more months to go, guys!
