Rose Gold and Burgundy South Dakota September Wedding

Taylor and Chelsea chose a mid-September wedding day with the goal of mild South Dakota weather. They wanted to avoid the heat and enjoy a comfortable, gorgeous day. While their day was certainly perfect, mild weather was no where to be found. Who would have thought that we would be dealing with a 93* day in September!

Nonetheless, Taylor, Chelsea, and all their friends and family rolled with the punches and didn’t let the heat ruin their day. They embraced every degree (and yes, we found a lot of shadey areas to shoot in!), and had the best day of their lives.

The day began at Hollywood Style in Mitchell, SD. The Hollywood crew pampered Chelsea and her girls that morning, and everyone looked stunning as they enjoyed breakfast and mimosas.

Chelsea collected the sweetest details for me to photograph, and I had serious heart eyes over all the rose gold. Even their wedding rings were both white gold and rose gold – a trend I love. These two thought of all the details, and it was a pleasure to photograph all of it and get to experience their day from the inside. I hope you enjoy this preview of their amazing day!
